All the pit under one umbrella!

Stalker picture of Jay Colgan and Mr. Russell.

Both the Seattle Sounders and the Seattle Seahawk's pep bands came and played for us!

Megan was ecstatic after catching a Sounder's drumstick

Mustache on the floor of the gym.....

We had glowsticks on Saturday night, and they looked really cool when all the lights were out. We also had a glowstick war with the boys. It looked really cool to have flying glowy things everywhere across the gym.

Alex, the Pit section leader, is a senior and gave us all these little "goodbye gifts." There's a story for each little thing.
- The Frame: she made these and put a picture of us at a football game in them. Jubilee was the only one not wearing one of the shirts we made! :)
- The Sunglasses: We as a pit love the song "Sunglasses at Night". We blast it in Alex's car when we're driving around, and we sing it all the time. So we got sunglasses and wore them at night!
- The "Flo" ball: We play a game where someone pretends to hold a ball, and then they throw/toss/chuck it at someone, who in turn pretents to catch it. It's really fun, and it's called "Flo Ball". That's also what we're pretending to do in the picture.

This shirt has the best story of all. At the beginning of the year, we were having a percussion sectional with our percussion guy, Jay Colgan. He was explaining how we were supposed to feel while we played this piece, and the story we were portraying. Then, randomly, he said, "I should be crying when you're done with this movement." Every time we played after that day, we asked Jay if he cried, and he'd usually say "yes". For this Auburn trip, Alex made everyone shirts that say "I MADE JAY CRY", then she made him a shirt that says, short and sweet, "I CRIED." It's my new favorite shirt!
Thus it ends. Another great season has come and gone, leaving us all wishing that we had just one more performance, just one more competition. There's always next year....
I made this post about 2 and a half months ago, but apparently it never posted.....
